What if the were no mandated assessments by an education board?
What if we replaced a progression structure based on entry and exit criteria from one year to the other to a progression structure which moved students based on level of ability & interest from one set of achievements to another? So no formal mandated exams, the teacher and student both decide when they are ready for evaluation. All the way up to employers, who judge learning ability, competence and passion rather than scores on an entrance, selection or eligibility test?
